Finance Manager

JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with an exciting, award winning business based in Brighouse who are creating a new role for an experienced Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. The company continue to experience growth and as a result the Finance Director is looking for a "number 2". Someone they can rely on to oversee the day to day finance function of the business, but with support and guidance from the Senior Leadership Team. This is a varied, interesting role and the successful candidate will have a great opportunity to improve processes and put their stamp on things. The hope is this role will evolve into a natural Financial Controller, so development and progression is already mapped out, giving the right person a huge opportunity to push their career forward.

Applicants must be comfortable with all aspects of finance, not afraid to process an invoice if required but equally capable of producing management accounts, commercial analysis and liaising with the board when making key business decisions.

Day to day duties will involve:

• Production of monthly management accounts pack
• Annual budget process including stock reconciliations
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Accruals and prepayments
• Financial reporting, variance analysis etc.
• HMRC compliance and VAT returns
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Support FD and Senior Leadership Team on exciting projects, including system integrations, process improvements and the production of value adding MI
• Support transactional team with AP, AR and Credit Control as required
