Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer required for a manufacturer based in Brighouse. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have a full driving licence, will be happy to travel with overnight stays, and will have experience in a similar role. The role is based at the premises in Brighouse West Yorkshire, however, you should live in a commuting distance of say Leeds, Bradford, Rochdale, Huddersfield, Keighley, etc.

* There may occasionally be a requirement to travel abroad for periods of 2 to 3 weeks ( America and France mainly )



* You will be expected to comply with all Health and Safety regulations of the company.



* To support the Company in securing more potential business, by identifying and submitting engineer leads for new service contracts or opportunities for additional spares or service work.



* Drive the implementation of engineering best practice procedures and maximise both effectiveness and efficiency within the job.



* To handle any challenging situations with customers in a professional and courteous manner at all times.



Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer (Mechanical Biased) Job Requirements





  • Essential you will have a valid UK driving license - ( Clean Preferred )
  • Experience in dealing with both Manual and Computer Numerically Controlled Milling Machinery.
  • Mechanical fitting and fault diagnosis on Machine tools.
  • Experience in machining head / Gearbox assembly and correct setting of Bevel gear meshing - This is an important and key part of the Role.
  • Machine tool alignment experience. - This is an important and key part of the Role.






Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer (Mechanical Biased) Salary & Benefits

£32,000 - £37,000 a year ( plus overtime ) depending on experience.

( 1 ? x weekdays, 1 x Saturday, 2 x Sunday )

  • Core working hours - 38 hours per week

Monday to Thursday 8.00 to 16.30

Friday 8.00 to 15.00

( hour lunch break )

  • Holidays 25 days + bank holidays ( 33 days total )
  • Pension - Contributory Pension
