Continuous Improvement Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

We are currently recruiting a Continuous Improvement Engineer for a leading player in the manufacturing sector, who are committed to delivering high-quality products and services to their customers. The business pride themselves on fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Because of this culture the company are seeking a talented and proactive Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal CI Engineer will drive operational excellence and lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and overall performance across the production environment.

Responsibilities for Continuous Improvement Engineer:

  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to reduce waste and increase productivity.
  • Utilise Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive efficiency.
  • Analyse operational data to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead and manage improvement projects from conception to implementation.
  • Train and mentor staff on continuous improvement principles and ensure a culture of continuous learning.
  • Monitor the impact of implemented changes and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal outcomes.

Skills Required for the Continuous Improvement Engineer role:

  • Bachelor's degree or HNC/HND qualification in Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement or similar engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles (certification preferred).
