Science Teacher to work in a Secondary School in HuddersfieldYour new companyHays are working with a secondary school in Huddersfield that is looking to recruit a Science Teacher.Your new role- The role is to commence as soon as possible (or after Easter) and will operate, full time, on a temporary basis, until the end of the Academic Year, as a minimum. - As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating between pupil ability. - You will also be required to mark and assess all work, ensuring that pupils are progressing in line with their target grades.You will be working on a long-term supply basis, where your pay will be reflective of experience.- You will be developing and delivering Science across both KS3 and KS4.- You will need to create a learning environment where pupils feel confident, asking for support if needed, as well as ensuring all students are driven towards high achievement and are progressing well.What you'll need to succeed- To be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold a teaching qualification with QTS and have experience of teaching Science to KS3 and 4 in the UK. - You must be able to commence the role asap (or after Easter) and be able to commit to the full duration of the assignment.What you'll get in return- You will receive a competitive daily rate of pay.
