Day-to-day of the role:- As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to implement educational plans that address the needs of each child.
- Support pupils in both classroom settings and one-on-one situations, adapting to their individual learning requirements.
- Engage with pupils through creative and interactive learning activities designed to make education both fun and impactful.
- Monitor and record pupils’ progress, contributing to evaluations and planning meetings to ensure the best outcomes for all children.
- Proven experience as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant or in a similar role with transferable skills.
- A confident and proactive approach to supporting children with special educational needs.
- Must possess a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- A genuine desire to go above and beyond to help children with special needs succeed.
