Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils with special educational needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Promote independence and social inclusion.
  • Support pupils in their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to foster a positive and stimulating learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs in a similar or transferable role.
  • Confidence and a proactive approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
  • Teach Team qualification is essential.
  • A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
