This well-established company manufactures solutions for the oil and gas industry on a global scale.You will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process including negotiation, ensuring purchase order accuracy, maximising value effectiveness and keeping up to date with current and future product trends.This role would suit a Purchasing Manager or Purchaser looking to step up, from a manufacturing background looking for a varied role with future progression opportunities.The Role:
- Liaise internally with all departments as well as existing supply chain.
- Sourcing and scheduling of electronic components.
- Negotiating and improving pricing.
- Participating in production meetings and communicating progress reports with relevant departments.
The Person:
- Purchasing / Buying experience within a Manufacturing company
- Machined parts experience
- MRP systems knowledge
