Marketing Lead - Industrial sector (Lubricants) -West Yorkshire

This is a full time role office based in Brighouse with flexible start/finish times and a 4pm finish on Fridays. Working hours are 37.5hr a week

Overview

Were looking for a Marketing Lead / Marketing Manager to take ownership of marketing activities for our client's industrial lubricant product portfolio. Youll be responsible for market research, brand positioning, and multi-channel campaigns to drive growth and profitability. This is a dynamic, and varied role offering exposure to the full marketing mix and the opportunity to work cross functionally with both internal and external stakeholders. The role includes shared line management responsibility for a Marketing Executive and Graphic Designer and a genuine opportunity to drive our marketing strategy and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Enhance brand positioning and create compelling messaging for industrial clients
  • Execute digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including SEO, social media, trade shows, and print
  • Support product launches with effective marketing plans and sales collaboration
  • Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders
  • Work cross functionally with Sales, R&D, and Operations to align marketing with business goals

Skills/Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field (desirable) or QBE with a recognised marketing qualification
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, including at least 2 in the lubricants, chemicals or the industrial product sector
  • Proven B2B marketing expertise with a strong understanding of industrial markets
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (SEO, SEM, email, social media)
  • Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills
  • A genuine passion for marketing and cross business collaboration
  • None UK marketing experience a plus
  • Understanding of working with Distribution partners
