We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chemotherapy Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their private hospital in Hove, East Sussex.

Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5hrs per week - Monday - Friday (no nights)

Chemotherapy Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist Duties and responsibilities:

  • To provide exemplary planned care for Breast Cancer Patients
  • Deliver effective and appropriate patient care through clinical expertise and leadership
  • To act as a resource and facilitator for all breast cancer care within the hospitals
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies both within and out of the hospital setting to ensure patient needs are met.

Who we are looking for?

  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Hold an accredited SACT administration course
  • Hold a Breast Care Certificate
  • Previous experience in cancer care and services.
  • Excellent communication, organisational & IT skills, with the ability to organise work around competing demands on time
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Compassionate, empathetic and able to showcase excellent patient care
