About the Role:

 

As a Production Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of our factory in Eastbourne, ensuring smooth processes focused on quality, cost, and timely delivery. You will play a vital role in creating a world-class manufacturing environment.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Motivate and mentor team members through appraisals, Personal Development Plans (PDPs), and regular 1:1 coaching sessions, fostering leadership development.
  • Collaborate with production coaches to identify and address knowledge gaps, ensuring the team meets SQDCP targets.
  • Manage shift operations, ensuring production efficiency while promoting a safe and organized workplace. Implement 5S principles and uphold daily management standards.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives with your team to resolve on-site issues, minimizing disruptions and working with Manufacturing and Test Engineers to drive improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO9001 and ISO4001 standards by adhering to Integrated Management System (IMS) policies and contributing to audits and certifications.
  • Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies through regular audits and continuous safety enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet customer and stakeholder commitments, ensuring accountability for achieving targets and executing plans.
  • Provide hands-on support with packing and production tasks, stepping in to cover shift absences and maintain seamless operations.

 

 

What We're Looking For:

 

  • Experience in production, manufacturing, or a similar industry is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, including experience in career development and performance management.
  • Familiarity with LEAN principles and continuous improvement practices is desirable.
