My client in the Hove area is seeking a Part time Bookkeeper due to expansion.
Job Summary:
We are a small accountancy practise seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will update a variety of clients' bookkeeping packages providing support and updating clients' bookkeeping packages
You will be working on several clients and will maintain your portfolio. Experience in the practice environment is useful
The ideal candidate has experience with Xero and other accounting software.
Duties:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
