We are looking for a multi skilled field service engineer to join our team. The successful candidate should have, a full UK driving licence, be able to travel, with overnight  stays as required, and have experience in a similar job role.

Multi Skilled Field Service Engineer.

  • Mechanical fitting, electrical understanding, ability to read mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
  • Installation, fault finding and servicing of  CNC controlled machine tools throughout the UK, Occasional overseas travel may be required.
  • Experience with some or all, Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain control systems would be an advantage.
  • Comply with all company Health and Safety Regulations.
  • To carry out work using best practices to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the job.
  • To liaise with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • To fill out reports and liaise with the service office.
  • Support the company in securing future business opportunities, Leads on future machine purchases,  servicing, and parts.

Job Requirements

  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience of working in a similar role with CNC machine tools.
  • Fault finding and diagnosis of CNC machine tools.
  • Machine tool alignment/geometry
  • Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic understanding.
