Part-Time Credit Control

Hove - Tuesday and Thursday in the office and 1 day from home

Permanent, Part-time (16 to 20 hours / 2 or 3 Days)

28,000 Full-time equivalent / 14 an hour

Are you a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or Credit Control and you are looking for your next challenge?

We are working with an incredible organisation in the Brighton area, who are looking for a Credit Controller to join there small and friendly team. Within this role you are supporting the Credit Control function of the business. This role reports to the finance manager.

Day to day could include:

  • Validate and process commission, bonus, and incentive payments
  • Generate and review weekly debtor reports
  • Send payment reminders and issue statements or receipts
  • Respond to payment queries and assist with escalations for overdue debts
  • Keep debtor records updated with detailed progress notes
  • Allocate received payments and reconcile accounts
  • Manage refundable deposits, including refunds and reconciliations
  • Investigate and resolve aged debts and transactions in suspense
  • Support credit control escalations as needed
  • Assist with compliance tasks, including fraud prevention and regulatory requirements

The ideal candidate we are looking for is/has:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience withing credit control
  • Great communication skills
  • Good Excel skills
  • Someone motivate and eager to grow
