Sonic Summary
- We are seeking an experienced UCD Lead Designer to advocate for a User Centred Design approach within our team.
- The ideal candidate should have practical experience implementing UCD methods and a background in providing usable solutions based on business needs.
- This role also involves coaching and mentoring to build a UCD culture, identifying skills gaps, and enhancing organizational knowledge.
- The position requires 1 - 2 days per week in our client's office in East Sussex, with a competitive salary offered.
- Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to be considered for this influential role.
To be a success in this role you will be able to demonstrate practical experience of implementing a UCD approach. This should include playing a lead role in implementing UCD Methods and adopting an evidence based approach that uses UCD to provide usable solutions that address the needs of the business. In addition to your functional role, the role will include acting as a coach and mentor in building a UCD culture. Identifying skills gaps and playing key role in building the knowledge and capability. At a practical level you will lead the development of the processes and procedures that will create an effective UCD Design function across the organisation and with partners.
This is a hybrid role requiring 1 - 2 days per week in our clients office in East Sussex
