An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated newly qualified accountant to join a leading chartered accountancy firm in Brighton. This role is perfect for individuals looking to advance their careers and progress to an Assistant Audit Manager position within 12 months.

Role Overview

The role is split approximately 70:30 between audit and accounts preparation, making experience in both areas essential. Key responsibilities include:

Audit: Planning, leading, and completing audits with efficiency and precision.

Client Engagement: Meeting and communicating with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent service.

Accounts Preparation: Producing accurate financial statements and related documentation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Have experience leading audit teams, working closely with Finance Directors, and liaising with client staff throughout the planning, fieldwork, and completion stages of audits.
  • Ensure audits are conducted efficiently and effectively, meeting the highest professional standards.
  • Be highly motivated and exhibit strong initiative.
  • Possess excellent IT skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
  • Have almost completed or completed your ACA or ACCA qualification.
