The Role:
As an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a mix of audit, statutory accounts, and advisory work, developing your skills within a supportive and progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with audit assignments from planning to completion
- Preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP and IFRS
- Working with a range of clients, including SMEs, corporate groups, and owner-managed businesses and NFP/Charities.
- Supporting senior team members with client advisory work
- Managing client relationships and ensuring high service standards
- Preparing tax computations and liaising with tax teams where required
About You:
- Part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or studying towards qualification)
- Experience in an audit role within an UK accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and auditing standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- A proactive approach and strong attention to detail
