Job Title: Audit & Accounts Partner (with or working towards RI status)Location: BrightonSalary: Competitive + Partner-Level Benefits + Route to Equity
We are working with a well established and successful firm of accountants, seeking an Audit & Accounts Partner to lead a team and grow with the firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded professional, either with RI (Responsible Individual) status or working towards it, who is also keen to expand their experience in accounts and business advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit assignments for a diverse client base, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Oversee accounts preparation for a variety of businesses, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Provide strategic business advisory services, offering clients tailored advice to improve their financial performance and growth
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery and identifying new business opportunities
- Supervise and mentor a team of auditors and accountants, fostering a high-performance culture
- Collaborate with other Partners to shape the strategic direction of the firm and drive its growth
- Prepare and review audit and accounts reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Participate in business development initiatives to expand the firm’s client portfolio
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with substantial experience in both audit and accounts within a practice environment
- RI status or ambition to achieve it within a defined timescale
- Strong technical expertise in both audit and accounts preparation, with up-to-date knowledge of regulations
- Proven ability to provide high-quality business advisory services to clients
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing teams and developing talent
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with a focus on relationship building
- Commercial acumen and ability to contribute to the strategic vision of the firm
