We are working with a well established and successful firm of accountants, seeking an Audit & Accounts Partner to lead a team and grow with the firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded professional, either with RI (Responsible Individual) status or working towards it, who is also keen to expand their experience in accounts and business advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audit assignments for a diverse client base, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Oversee accounts preparation for a variety of businesses, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Provide strategic business advisory services, offering clients tailored advice to improve their financial performance and growth
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery and identifying new business opportunities
  • Supervise and mentor a team of auditors and accountants, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Collaborate with other Partners to shape the strategic direction of the firm and drive its growth
  • Prepare and review audit and accounts reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
  • Participate in business development initiatives to expand the firm’s client portfolio

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with substantial experience in both audit and accounts within a practice environment
  • RI status or ambition to achieve it within a defined timescale
  • Strong technical expertise in both audit and accounts preparation, with up-to-date knowledge of regulations
  • Proven ability to provide high-quality business advisory services to clients
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing teams and developing talent
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with a focus on relationship building
  • Commercial acumen and ability to contribute to the strategic vision of the firm
