TPF Recruitment is proud to be representing a fast-growing firm of chartered accountants based in Brighton. We are on the lookout for an experienced Credit Controller to join their dynamic Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking business that values work-life balance, offering flexibility for those with caring responsibilities or other needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicating directly with clients and business owners via email and telephone
  • Using software to send statements and maintain accurate records (training provided)
  • Collaborating with internal managers, partners, the Head of Finance, and the CFO
  • Developing and managing payment plans
  • Resolving customer queries and escalating where necessary
  • Processing card payments
  • Managing escalations of debtors for legal action when required
Requirements

About You: Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Credit Control
  • Familiarity with legal procedures (desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Experience working within a B2C environment
  • Previous accounts experience (desirable but not required)
