Finance Business Partner

Grafton Banks Finance is working with a large blue-chip business, based in Brighton, to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

As part of a high calibre commercial finance team this role will work with stakeholders to support, challenge and advise on strategic and operational decision-making through insights that drive better business performance. 

We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant or Business partner with excellent communication skills, commercial acumen, and strong data analysis skills including advanced Excel. Ideally, you’ll be a qualified accountant, but this isn’t essential.

Key responsibilities:

• Own month end reporting, ensuring you meet deadlines set by stakeholders. 
• Conduct variance analysis of the reporting, interpret the data and provide business insight and present monthly results to key business stakeholders.
• Understanding key drivers contributing to movements in revenue and cost base and be able to produce accurate analysis and evaluate risks and opportunities that can influence performance.
• Improve or develop analysis tools that support understanding of performance drivers and movements, using own initiative and acting on key stakeholders’ insight and requirements.
• Develop challenging but achievable budget and forecasts, as well as developing plans to deliver them.

This role offers very flexible working and can be largely remote with occasional travel into the clients Brighton and London offices. Salary for this role is £55,000 – 60,000 + benefits including 5% bonus, excellent pension, and 25 days holiday. To be considered you’ll need to be available on a months notice or less.
