Robertson Bell are supporting a unique organisation based in Brighton to recruit an Internal Auditor on a permanent basis.
This is a hybrid role that will require the successful candidate in the office six days over the course of a calendar month.
Joining a tight-knit team at an early stage of development, this role comes with plenty of opportunity to impact the growth and direction of the audit function as it matures. Â
The Internal Auditor will be responsible for;
- Conducting risk-based audits across different functional areas of the organisation, providing assurance, managing risks and ensuring procedures are followed.
- Building relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including senior management, to promote the value of the internal audit function and work in partnership to develop assurance and control frameworks.
- Support the implementation and embedding of new audit management software to improve efficiency and collaboration.
The successful candidate will have:
- A background in internal audit, ideally within the public sector.
- A CCAB, CIMA or Audit qualification.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach to work, while being proactive and improvement focussed.
