Management Accountant

Brighton (staff parking available)

Our client is an entrepreneurial, privately owned group of companies based in Brighton. They’re currently going through an exciting phase of expansion and reinvestment which has created the need for an additional permanent member of the finance team.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director as part of a small team, this individual will be tasked with:

  • Preparing quarterly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Ensuring HMRC submissions are compliant and completed on time.
  • Improving and streamlining financial reporting processes.
  • Collaborating with department heads to optimise cost control and profitability.
  • Supporting year-end audits and liaising with external auditors.
  • Providing financial analysis for various ad hoc projects.
  • Offering support and guidance to non-finance colleagues.
  • Working closely with the Finance Director to improve processes and business partnering offering.
