We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is crucial for preparing management reports, providing financial analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. The Management Accountant will ensure that our financial practices comply with all statutory legislation and regulations.
Day-to-day of the role:- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct cost analysis and review, providing insights to management for cost control and reduction.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop financial plans and monitor departmental budgets.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, offering insights and strategic recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
