Job Purpose
  • Support a varied portfolio of clients, providing excellent taxation compliance, advisory and planning services
  • Support Tax Partner across a range of tax consultancy projects, including employee share incentive plans, corporate reconstructions and HMRC tax clearances
  • Assist with trust and inheritance tax planning
  • Support with capital gains tax planning and transactional work, including tax due dilligence and double tax treaties
  • Provide VAT advice to help clients minimise liabilities
  • Liaise with third parties to collate tax return information
  • Ensure HMRC compliance with relevant statutory requirements
  • Research regularly to interpret changes in tax laws and regulations
  • Nurture meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike
  • Mentor and guide junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
  • Champion your own professional development by undertaking progression opportunities where possible

Job Requirements
  • CTA or ATT qualified, working towards CTA or qualified by relevant experience
  • Proven track record of working in a mixed tax role within practice
  • Excellent communicator both on paper and in person
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Well organised and confident in managing own workload autonomously
  • Good at working under pressure
  • Self-motivated, professional and reliable
  • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
  • An enthusiasm to progress within the firm, undertaking continuous professional development
