Trainee Accountant

We are working with a unique accountancy practice who specialise in the creative industry. Our client is looking for someone with up to 2 years of experience working within practice, who possesses a strong interest in the creative industry.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Review and assist in the preparation of VAT returns, sole trader, partnership, LLP, and corporate accounts.
  • Review and assist in the preparation of personal, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
  • Prepare Quarterly Management Reports.
  • Work under direction but with a degree of responsibility and initiative.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Part-qualified, pursuing ACCA or AAT.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Proficient in Xero, particularly the management report function.
  • Experience with TaxCalc is preferable but not essential; however, familiarity with statutory accounts and tax filing software is required.
  • Ability to adapt to and learn new software quickly.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic about working in and contributing to the creative industries.
