We are representing a dynamic global provider of insurance solutions. Our client, based in the heart of Brighton, offers a hybrid working model that blends both collaborative office work and flexible remote work. They are transforming insurance for the on-demand economy with substantial backing and exciting growth plans.

They are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their Brighton team on a hybrid basis (with 2-3 days in the office). This is a temporary cover position (a minimum of 4 weeks) but has a high possibility of developing into a permanent one for the right candidate.

The Requirements

  • Have experience with accounts payable and receivable.
  • Are skilled in MS Excel and detail oriented.
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with tools like Expensify or Sage Intacct is a plus.
  • This role will be starting this month so you must be available to start in the next 2 weeks.

The Responsibilities

  • Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and manage payment runs.
  • Oversee employee reimbursements and support month-end/year-end activities.
  • Assist with various finance projects and ad hoc requests.
