Working as an integral part of the finance team, the position holder will be responsible for assisting the finance team in the production & running of all financial matters limited.

Role responsibilities:

  • Assist FM in preparation of monthly management accounts and monthly management reporting.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Customer accounts reconciliations
  • Supplier account reconciliations
  • Credit control - reconciling trade customer accounts & chasing trade customers for payment.
  • Ensuring payments, amounts & records are correct.
  • Managing sales, purchase ledgers & journals
  • Assist in processing day to day transactions.
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in working in a finance role.
  • An understanding of double entry bookkeeping.
  • Working towards being fully qualified or part qualified (Support Options available - CIMA, ACCA, AAT)
  • Enjoys & experienced working in high paced environment.
  • Experienced with bank reconciliations.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage own time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal and skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong IT skills across MS office, in particular excel (Pivot tables & V lookups)
  • Well organised and flexible to meeting the requirements of the job
  • High attention to detail
