We are seeking an International Administrative Coordinator to join a Brighton based University within thier International Office. This role is crucial for providing professional administrative support in all areas of international student recruitment, including support for staff engaged in overseas travel and partnerships. The successful candidate will contribute to the effective delivery of office- and campus-based activities, ensuring the smooth operation of the Student Recruitment, Admissions, and International Development functions.
Day-to-Day of the Role:- Maintain excellent customer service for agents by providing prompt, professional, and helpful administrative services.
- Coordinate the use of marketing materials, maintain stock records, and manage the distribution for international officers.
- Respond to enquiries from potential/current UK, international/European applicants, or forward to appropriate teams, schools, or departments.
- Assist the International Administration Team Manager with the organisation of events and projects.
- Use the University Finance System to generate Purchase Order Numbers for invoices and ensure proper processing.
- Assist with UK-based recruitment activities that may attract overseas fee-paying students.
- Help coordinate the Human Resources activities of the International Office.
- Provide general support to other members of the International Office as required.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a higher education setting.
- Understanding of the UK Higher Education system and the needs of international applicants and students.
- High-level proficiency in IT tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and databases.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with sensitivity to cross-cultural issues.
- Ability to deliver work to deadlines, prioritise workload, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
- A-level qualification or equivalent is essential.
