Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Van Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems and equipment within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The Maintenance Electrician will play a critical role in maintaining safety standards and ensuring that all electrical work complies with relevant regulations.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various maintenance tasks.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure optimal facility operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar maintenance role is essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work is required.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry is crucial.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints effectively.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical maintenance are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
- Understanding of commercial mechanical systems / compliance checking
Must have
- 18th or 17th Edition
- Level 3 Qualification in Electrical
- Mechanical Experience (AHU/FCU's etc)
- Full driving license
