We are supporting a company based in Central Brighton with recruiting for a temporary Accounts Payable Officer, for 4 months. This is a hybrid opportunity where you will work 2 days a week from home and the remaining 3 days in the office, Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm. The hourly rate is 13.46 with weekly pay and to start next week, Monday 21st October.
Duties will include:
- Monitoring accounts payable mailboxes
- Matching POs and processing invoices
- Escalating payment queries
- Balance sheet and supplier statement reconciliation
- Monitoring aged creditors and proposing due payments
- Managing supplier relations and working with suppliers AR teams to reconcile accounts, request invoice copies, send remittances and payment information
- Maintaining and improving supplier data such as addresses, payment terms, and other contact details
To be successful you must have experience of working in accounts payable and with a range of accounts systems, including NetSuite, this would be a distinct advantage. Ideally you will have experience of foreign currency transactions too.
