We are thrilled to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join a prestigious national firm, ranked in The Legal 500. This is your chance to work in a beautiful, centrally located office in Brighton, within a friendly and diverse team.

The Role:

As a Legal Cashier, you will be an integral part of our finance team, handling key responsibilities to ensure smooth operations in our legal accounts. Your role will involve:

  • Managing client accounts and ensuring compliance with SRA rules.

  • Monitoring and processing daily client funds, including CHAPS, BACs, and FPS electronic payments.

  • Processing payments, receipts, transfers, manual cheques, and/or cash banking.

  • Posting expenses (fees, travel, etc.) and managing 'Infotrack' and Land Registry invoices.

  • Handling filing and other daily administrative duties.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in legal accounts is essential.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a self-motivated, organised approach.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.

  • Experience with 'Indigo' is preferred but not essential.

  • Availability to start as soon as possible and ideally based within easy reach of our Brighton office.
