Company Description:Our client is a leading National Electrical Wholesaler. They are looking for an individual with an Electrical Wholesale background and experience in leading and motivating a team and making all the key decisions to increase sales and profits.

Person & Skills Required:

  • Good commercial acumen and a B2B background with a passion for success and building profitable sales
  • An ambitious individual who can take advantage of the opportunities within the business to forge a successful career
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive and hardworking attitude with the ability to work under pressure
  • Dynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and success
  • Ability to oversee, influence, negotiate and close deals personally or by using a sales team
  • Good leadership skills
  • Customer focused approach
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Key Responsibilities:

  • To make all the key decisions and run the commercial operation with full autonomy and accountability
  • Build and develop a motivated team who are hungry for success
  • Identification and development of new business opportunities from new customers and dormant accounts
  • Providing comprehensive training and development for team members
  • Effectively recruiting new employees
  • Ensuring that your team meets operational standards and that the branch operates efficiently whilst identifying improvement opportunities
  • Driving profitable sales
  • Liaising with suppliers to secure the best commercial arrangements
