Senior Data Analyst

Location: Brighton/hybrid (6 days per month in the office)
Contract:Permanent - 2 roles available
Salary: 41,383 to 52,878 per annum dependent on skills and experience plus excellent benefits package including Civil Service Pension 27% contribution + bonus

Role

Passionate about data and analytics? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst. Lead analytical projects, manage stakeholders, and produce official statistics reports.

Key projects include:

- Designing metrics for pension scheme governance.
- Forecasting demand for defined contribution decumulation products.
- Analyzing the changing pensions market.
- Migrating to a new data warehouse.

Manage and develop a junior analyst while delivering high-quality analytical outputs using programming languages and complex data sets.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage analytical projects with stakeholders.
- Support and develop junior analysts.
- Deliver analysis of complex data sets and make recommendations.
- Use programming languages for data manipulation and statistical outputs.

Essential Criteria

- Proficient in R or Python and Power BI or Tableau.
- Evaluate data sources for analysis suitability.
- Strong communication skills for non-technical audiences.

Desirable Criteria

- Basic understanding of the UK pensions industry.
- Experience in line management.
- Knowledge of Git, AzureDevOps, and AGILE methodologies.
