Job Title: Van Driver
Location: Brighton

Salary: Hourly pay, £11.46 p/h
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our client team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering materials to customers on-site. You'll be operating a van that may be loaded to the maximum weight of 1.1 tons, although this weight will typically be split across multiple deliveries. This is a hands-on role that requires careful attention to safety and time management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and deliver materials to various customer sites.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain the van in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 3 penalty points.
- Experience driving vans is preferred but not required.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
Shift Pattern:
- 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Working hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour break during the day.
- Overtime opportunities are available and paid at the standard rate.
Compensation:
- Hourly pay at the minimum wage rate.
- Eligibility for a share of the branch's performance-based bonus.
