Engage Education are currently seeking an experienced Food Technician to work with our client, a school in Brighton

  • An enthusiastic Food Technology Technician is required to support teaching staff and students in Food Technology lessons. Preparing equipment and ingredients following the instructions of the Head of Department and/or classroom teacher. This role involves directly supporting students in their work. In addition, the post holder will be required to take on other related tasks as required.

We are looking for:

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation as it relates to the work of a school
  • Knowledge of COSHH and regulations in relation to the safe handling and storage of Food
  • Knowledge of GCSE and A Level exam board requirements
  • Ability to maintain accurate work records and inventories
  • Ability to maintain a range of tools and equipment
