We are looking for experienced B2B sales professionals to join the business development team of a successful global events company in the sustainability conference sector.

This is a great team and an exciting company to work for. There are roles as Business Development Executive and Business Development Manager up for grabs as part of expansion.

Job duties:

  • Selling sponsorship and exhibition space to global delegates at events all over the world
  • Using the CRM and warm data to book and attend Teams meetings to sell to C-Suite level contacts
  • Conducting follow up sales calls and cross selling other conference and events available
  • Research the market and generate/qualify new leads for campaigns and new events/territories
  • Generate new business, close sales, hit targets
  • Travel internationally to attend internal and external events

Skills & experience required for Business Development Executive (circa £35,000 basic):

  • Proven B2B sales experience, with a good track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience selling B2B to senior level business executives / C-Suite contacts
  • Conceptual and consultative selling style
  • Experience using sales software such as Salesforce, Goldmine, ZoHo etc

Skills & experience required for Business Development Manager (up to £45,000 basic):

The above plus

  • Fluent in written and verbal English as well as either Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic or French
  • Experience of the B2B Expo/Events sector within a sales role
  • An understanding of digital advertising
  • Experience or demonstrable interest in the sustainability and cleantech sectors

The role is full time and permanent, working in the Brighton office 4 days per week minimum and the option of 1 day a week working from home. It’s a 37 hour week Monday to Friday with flexibility on hours required dependent on the campaign location.
