Insurance Sales Executive

Salary: £24k - £26k Basic - DOE + £35k OTE + Great benefit package

Location: Brighton

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm

You will have a proven telephone sales background and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and working to sales targets. There is no cold calling in this role, as you will be contacting clients you have approached the company via web based or digital enquiries. However, my client is very interested in people that have worked within an outbound sales position and has a natural ability to build excellent rapport with clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing incoming web-based, telephone and digital marketing enquiries.
  • Discussing and selling income protection insurance products.
  • Ensuring customer qualifies for the policies.
  • Managing all aspects of the sales process.
  • Cross selling ancillary products such as Life, PMI etc.
  • Liaising with insurers and underwriters.
  • Managing a pipeline of sales business.
  • Ensuring all FCA regulations and compliance is adhered to.
  • Working to strict SLA’s and sales targets.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven background within a telephone sales-based role.
  • Great communication skills with a natural confidence in speaking to customers over the phone.
  • Good IT skills inclusive of Word, Excel and updating CRM systems accurately.
  • Driven and self-motivated with a passion to succeed.
  • Proven track record in achieving KPI’s and sales targets.
  • Strong team player with the ability to pick up new systems and information quickly.
