Our client are seeking a visionary Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead their technology team, drive innovation, and play a key role in the growth and strategy of the company.

Job Summary:The Chief Technical Officer (CTO) will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's technology vision, strategies, and plans to drive business growth. The CTO will lead a cross-functional team, collaborate with other departments, and ensure that the technology infrastructure aligns with business goals and industry standards, particularly focusing on scalability, data security, and user experience in the fintech space.

Responsibilities:

  • Technology Strategy & Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with the company’s mission, vision, and goals. Ensure the roadmap is agile and adaptive to emerging technologies, fintech trends, and customer demands.
  • Product Development & Innovation: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of fintech products and services. Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging team members to identify and explore emerging technologies that could benefit the company and its customers.
  • Leadership & Team Building: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing technology team, including software engineers, data scientists, security experts, and IT support staff. Cultivate a collaborative and results-oriented work environment that prioritizes continuous learning.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure all products and systems adhere to industry regulations and best practices in cybersecurity, data protection, and financial compliance. Develop risk mitigation strategies and protocols to safeguard customer data and build trust in the brand.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the CEO and other executives to align the technology strategy with business goals. Act as a key spokesperson for the company’s technology vision and initiatives to investors, clients, and partners.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish KPIs and monitor the performance of all technology operations. Regularly report on progress, key achievements, and strategic adjustments to the executive team and stakeholders.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Identify and manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and consultants. Evaluate new and existing vendor contracts to ensure the best fit, quality, and value.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. Prior experience in fintech, finance, or a highly regulated industry is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees (Master’s or MBA) are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and understanding of fintech industry trends and regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build, inspire, and lead a diverse technology team. Strong skills in strategic planning, project management, and budgeting.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities and a data-driven mindset, with the capacity to translate complex technical issues into actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technological concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AI, machine learning, blockchain, and other emerging technologies.
  • Previous experience with scaling technology infrastructure for a rapidly growing company.
  • Demonstrated success in bringing innovative fintech products to market.
