About the Role:As a Nursery Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced team to provide high-quality care and early education to children in our nursery. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning
  • Assisting with daily routines, including feeding, nap time, and hygiene practices
  • Building strong, supportive relationships with the children in your care, fostering their social and emotional development
  • Observing and recording children's progress and sharing insights with senior staff
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to create a safe, welcoming environment
  • Working closely with parents and carers to ensure the best outcomes for each child
  • Supporting children with additional needs where required

Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • GCSE's or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year working with children
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

Eligibility

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
