Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader to join the team at our Brighton and Hove roommate nursery. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in the nursery.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a curriculum that is engaging, stimulating, and age-appropriate for children in the nursery.
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed by staff members in the nursery.
  • Organise the staff in the room, ensuring continuous cover for the children adhering to ratios
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring that they are kept informed about their child's progress and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring that these records are up-to-date and accessible to parents and carers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a nursery setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A passion for working with children and providing high-quality care and education.
  • All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.

Your new role:Your new role will be working as a Room Leader. The nursery is looking for qualified staff that would like to build their expertise, career and grow within the nursery. You will be assisting with the day to day running of the classes, supporting the students and using your initiative to help them succeed. The nursery are recruiting a part time role.
