We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our dynamic Infrastructure Change team. This role is perfect for a seasoned expert who thrives on delivering complex infrastructure projects and providing high-level technical support.
About the Role
As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge infrastructure solutions. You'll play a crucial role in driving change initiatives and ensuring the stability and security of our IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions for large-scale projects
- Provide expert-level (3rd line) support for complex infrastructure issues
- Manage and optimize cloud environments, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Office 365
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation
- Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing across the IT department
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT support and infrastructure management
- Proven track record of successfully delivering major infrastructure change projects
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure
- Strong experience with virtualization technologies, preferably VMware vSphere
- In-depth understanding of networking concepts and security best practices
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and change management processes
- Experience working in a regulated financial services environment is highly desirable
