They are looking to expand their team in Brighton and are seeking a Commercial Manager to join them on a full-time basis, initially on a 10-month FTC with a view to becoming a permanent position. You will oversee designated markets and categories within the commercial function, ensuring business performance is optimized for mutual benefit. Support market engagement by refining commercial approaches, with a focus on pricing and promotions. Manage key pricing structures with the support of team members, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

The Requirements:
- Multiple years of experience in a similar commercial role, ideally in an international/multi-geography retail business.
- Experience of providing results-focused commercial analytics and decisions within a retail or consumer business, with exposure to price indexing and related data and reports.
- Ability to work with and influence others across a number of functions and levels within a business, using analytical insight to drive growth and improve KPIs (sales, margin, transactions).
- Experience of working with Franchisees desired, but not essential.
The Responsibilities:
- Assist in discussions with partners on various commercial matters.
- Support category management by reviewing performance, collaborating with teams, and identifying opportunities for adjustments.
- Optimize sales strategies by aligning content, pricing, promotions, and performance reviews.
- Contribute to pricing assessments and provide insights based on market analysis.
- Ensure adherence to internal pricing guidelines with necessary support.
- Collaborate with markets to support business objectives and sales goals.
- Track key performance metrics and contribute to broader initiatives to enhance results.
- Align commercial activities with overarching brand direction and market needs.
- Maintain a purpose-driven approach, considering broader impacts in line with company values.
- Uphold ethical standards, including environmental and safety considerations, and report any concerns.
