Brownlee Cale are recruiting for a Lead Commissioning Engineer for a tier 1 civil engineering civils contractor in Brighton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures for water supply systems.
  • Coordinate with design, construction, and operational teams for smooth commissioning phases.
  • Oversee equipment inspections, system testing (e.g., pressure, functional, performance), and FAT/SAT sign-offs.
  • Monitor water processes and respond to alarms, faults, and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain communication with clients, regulators, and project teams, providing progress updates and reports.
  • Mentor junior engineers and assist in their development.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experiencein water industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., DWI, OFWAT, EA, HSE).
  • Ability to manage commissioning tasks, identify risks, and apply appropriate control measures.
  • Proficiency in using commissioning tools, equipment, and technology.
