Brownlee Cale are recruiting for a Lead Commissioning Engineer for a tier 1 civil engineering civils contractor in Brighton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures for water supply systems.
- Coordinate with design, construction, and operational teams for smooth commissioning phases.
- Oversee equipment inspections, system testing (e.g., pressure, functional, performance), and FAT/SAT sign-offs.
- Monitor water processes and respond to alarms, faults, and issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety procedures.
- Maintain communication with clients, regulators, and project teams, providing progress updates and reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and assist in their development.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Experiencein water industry.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., DWI, OFWAT, EA, HSE).
- Ability to manage commissioning tasks, identify risks, and apply appropriate control measures.
- Proficiency in using commissioning tools, equipment, and technology.
