SITE MANAGER - WEST SUSSEX

Are you a Site Manager, looking to work with a well established local civil engineering contractor?

I am currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to start work in the Sussex area, with a contractor who specialises in all aspects of Civil Engineering. The work is due to start ASAP.

Salary: £42,000 to £45,000 (dependant on experience) plus package (car or car allowance, pension, healthcare)

Location: Sussex

Start date: ASAP

The Project:

This client deal with a range of civil engineering projects, such as highways, water, utilities and structure structures. They are based in Sussex, but work across Sussex, Kent and occasionally London and Surrey.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing workforce
  • Motivating the team to complete projects on schedule
  • Ensuring the site team complies with site rules and regulations whilst monitoring the quality of their work.
  • Maintaining equipment and managing paperwork
  • Collaborating with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the project proceed as planned
  • Liaising with the client and all other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Ideally you will have progressed from a tools background
  • Experience working on civil engineering projects with a main contractor, with experience in utilities is essential
  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
