We're working with a modern and dynamic company in Brighton to recruit a Credit Controller to join their supportive and friendly team.
Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Credit Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing debts owed to the company and ensuring timely payments from customers.
Duties
- Conduct credit checks on new customers
- Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email, and letter
- Maintain accurate records of all communications with debtors
- Resolve billing discrepancies
- Analyse financial statements to assess credit risk
- Collaborate with the accounts payable department
Requirements
- Proficient in data entry and accounting software
- Strong phone etiquette skills for effective communication with debtors
- Ability to build rapport with debtors and suppliers
- Previous Credit Control experience
