I am seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join a reputable and estbalished business based in Brighton on a permanent basis. The role is full-time, offering a salary of £25,000 per year.

While this is a full-time on-site position, the client is open to flexible working arrangements for those with caregiving responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with clients and business owners via email and phone
  • Sending statements and recording notes using software (training provided)
  • Collaborating with internal teams including managers, partners, and senior finance staff
  • Arranging payment plans and resolving customer queries
  • Processing card payments and escalating overdue debts if needed
  • Handling legal escalations for unresolved debtors

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years of Credit Control experience
  • Familiarity with legal procedures is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills and phone etiquette
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Previous experience in a B2C environment and accounts knowledge is beneficial
