Patient Access Administrator

The shift times will be Monday to Friday 9-5 - office based.

37.5 hour week.

Temp for 3 - 6 months

Immediate Start

£12.15 - £12.45 per hour

Patient Access Administrator must ensure patients are accurately registered and processed on the system and have the ability to book and schedule appointments. You will be the first point of contact in a busy department. Previous Customer Service experience along with NHS experience would be desirable.

Required skills include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication. This role involves lots of telephone conversations and composing emails.
  • Experience using Microsoft office, especially Excel
  • Experience in a customer service role
  • provide an efficient and high quality appointment, reception and administration service
  • Must have excellent time management
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • possess an adaptable and flexible approach to produce work.

You will need to be able to work alone and use your own initiative but also as part of a large team of admin staff across the Department.
