Overview

My Client is looking for an experienced data analyst to join ourtheir team and play a key part of ourtheir data strategy at an exciting time for as they’re just kicking off a big Data project in partnership with Microsoft.

BoundlessThey are looking for a friendly individual who loves to champion data and has a natural curiosity to look beyond an initial question to find actionable insights. This role would suit someone experienced in being able to tell a story with data and make clear actionable recommendations based on evidence.

The skill set on this role is quite flexible as it’s their priority to find someone who will fit in and flourish in the long term so please don’t be put off getting in touch if you are missing some of the technical criteria / experience. A flexible approach and a good attitude is more important as their view is skills can be trained.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Under direction of the Group Head of Data & Compliance, collaborate on the design and support the implementation of the data architecture and technologies required to deliver the objectives of my Client’s Data Strategy initiative.
  • Engage Key Stakeholders, analyse business opportunities and capture requirements for delivery through external partners.
  • Manage delivery of assigned project activities, work closely with colleagues and 3rd party suppliers to ensure delivery on time, to budget and quality.
  • Review existing business processes and drive improvements through the evolution of existing applications and services.
  • Support colleagues across all departments, understand their needs and objectives and advise on how technology can deliver business benefit.

Required:

  • Experience with Microsoft Data Platform technologies, including MS Dynamics365 CRM or Power BI.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, (such as Power BI or similar such as Looker Studio, Tableau or others)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting data interpretation and insights to non-technical audiences. Ideally ability to use data storytelling techniques
  • Willingness to go beyond the prescribed role - with only a small team in place, they’re looking for someone flexible to support the implementation of a data-driven, evidence based culture.
  • Able to attend Brighton office a couple of days a week. They are happy for you to be in the office more often but are offering Hybrid c2/3day split assuming you’re happy to work from home 3days a week.

Desirable / helpful (don’t be put off if you have none of the following)

  • Membership or customer service/experience business experience preferred
  • Knowledge of other marketing technology data platforms such Microsoft Customer Insights, Microsoft Customer Data, Microsoft Fabric, social marketing insights, and email marketing analytics would be beneficial
  • Experience in SQL, SAS, Python, or R programming
  • Some knowledge of analytics tools would be helpful
  • Some exposure to AI tools such as Co Pilot
