THE ROLE
The company are now looking for an experienced, Senior P roject Manager to work on all aspects of events from start to finish, whilst travelling to amazing destinations all around the world.
Duties will include:
- Delivering and planning a broad range of events
- Taking client briefs
- Sourcing venues
- Creating detailed proposals
- Building strong client relationships
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers
- Managing delegates
- Travelling internationally to continue event management onsite
- Managing and facilitating virtual events
- Managing and reconciling budgets
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have experience in the events industry with a willingness to travel globally. You will have a natural ability to multitask across projects and be comfortable with meeting clients face to face and virtually. Agency Experience is desirable, however not necessary!
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing events end to end, ideally gained from working in an agency environment although other backgrounds will be considered. Candidates should have experience of creating engaging proposals and managing suppliers as well as an exceptional eye for detail. Candidates must be open to international travel as you will be required to go onsite to manage events!
To be successful for the role you will have strong communication skills with the ability to influence others. Basic UK and worldwide destination knowledge would be advantageous. Being able to use your own initiative is important when it comes to joining this small team!
