Cedar is currently partnered with a PE-Backed manufacturing business to secure an Interim Group Reporting Manager based in the South Coast of the UK. The role is a 3-6 month initial contract, paying a day rate between £500-600 per day (outside IR35).

The Role

As Interim Group Reporting Manager, you will cover:

  • Consolidate group accounts to provide accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Conduct thorough balance sheet reviews to ensure financial integrity and accuracy.
  • Assist with the preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior management.
  • Support the CFO in managing and reducing the workload through effective financial management and reporting.
  • Tidy up and streamline financial processes across multiple entities within the group.
  • Engage in the sales process, providing financial insights and support where necessary.
  • Work closely with various departments to gather financial data and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
  • Provide hands-on support in a dynamic, SME business environment.

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

  • A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA)·
  • Previous experience with IFRS reporting, liaising with external audits.
  • Experience within a dynamic, improvement focused, environment.
  • Prior experience with a sale process is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workloads with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Prior experience in an interim / contract role would be beneficial but not necessary.
  • The rate of £500-600 (outside IR35) per day represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
