Grafton Banks Finance is looking for a fully qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA Mergers & Acquisitions Manager to join an established business in Brighton offering an outstanding career opportunity.

Acting as Team Leader, this role requires an enthusiastic individual to take responsibility for the acquisition forecasting and due diligence team, as well as post-acquisition work.

It is essential that you’re a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant, whose career has developed within a corporate finance field, that you bring substantial mergers and acquisitions experience, and live locally to Brighton.

In this role you will manage a small team, and prepare 3-5 years acquisition and budget forecasts, for which you’ll have expert financial modelling skills along with Advanced Excel skills. For potential acquisitions you’ll hold the due diligence process, liaising with senior leaders internally and externally, be comfortable delivering presentations and handling multiple priorities. Added to this, as leader of the team, we’re looking for a great people-person with natural mentoring and leadership qualities.

Post acquisition, you’ll retain close contact with the vendors and account managers to allow smooth transition and integration, along with agreeing all final tax and statutory accounts.
